This is an adaptor module that allows a 433MHz transceiver module to be connected to a PC via a Serial RS232 port so that the module can be configured.
Software is supplied with the adaptor on CD, no driver is necessary and any PC that has a serial port can be used. You will only need this adaptor if you want to configure the module from a PC, the modules can also be configured directly from a PICAXE, or any, microcontroller that supports 9600 baud serial at TTL levels.
