Oscilloscopes are widely used when it is desired to observe the exact wave shape of an electrical signal. In addition to the amplitude of the signal, an oscilloscope canmeasure the frequency, show distortion, and show the relative timing of two related signals. Oscilloscopes are used in the sciences, medicine, engineering, telecommunications, and industry. General-purpose instruments are used for maintenance of electronic equipmentand laboratory work.
The common oscilloscopes available on the market today range from 20MHz to 40MHz. With oscilloscopes, the higher the frequency, the more accurate the results in voltage, amplitude and frequency.
The colour screen on the UT2102C allows you to comparetwo separate signals (ie. phase) in 2 different colours
The LCD oscilloscope has an advantage over typical CROs (Cathode Ray Oscilloscopes) making it lighter and smaller
The digital storage function allows you to save information to the built-in memory, and with the integrated USB feature, you are able to transfer the data to your PC where you can get print outs
CD with testing software containing sample signals is also included in the package. Sample signals allow you to compare a faulty device against the sample signal from a functioning device
